Miguel O'Hara possesses several abilities that Peter Parker does not have. For instance Peter Parker was able to gain a spider-sense while having an all-rounded physique. Due to his enhanced spider DNA, O’Hara can accelerate so fast that he can actually leave behind a speed decoy to confuse his enemies. Since Miguel doesn’t have a spider-sense like other variants, his speed and agility are what keep him a step ahead of his enemies.

Miguel O’Hara’s eyes were physically transformed by the gene splicing accident. He not only developed amazing night vision, but he also had telescopic vision that allowed him to focus on distant objects like a zoom lens. His eyes move quicker than most so he can see attacks coming from afar, though his eyes are so sensitive that he has to wear shaded lenses in his civilian identity. Miguel's costume also incorporates venomous fangs that can deliver a paralyzing venom to incapacitate opponents.

Miguel O’Hara wasn’t lucky enough to receive a powerful healing factor like Wolverine or Deadpool. However, Spider-Man 2099 still has an enhanced metabolism and increased self-healing ability due to his spliced spider physiology.

While O’Hara can’t regenerate lost limbs or recover from otherwise fatal wounds, he can heal much quicker than a normal baseline human.
