"The Top 10 Best Villains in Anime: Icons of Evil"

 10.Light yagami(Death note)

When someone’s goal is to become a god through murder and deception, chances are they’re a pretty insidious anime villain, and Light Yagami is no exception.

A young man with a genius intellect, Light stumbles upon the Death Note at a young age and quickly realizes its power to kill anyone is no joke. Instead of getting rid of it though, he hatches a plan. He’ll kill everyone he deems a criminal, becoming the ruler and god of the new world he creates. It’s a fine idea on paper – at least in terms of ridding the world of crime and suffering – but in execution, this ambition quickly corrupts him worse than he already was. In addition to criminals, Light also manipulates and kills almost everyone around him he deems a threat. Policemen, investigators, and even his own family fall victim to his plotting, all while he continues to advance his plans.

9. Dio Brando(Jojo's bizzare adventure)

There's no character quite like Dio Brando. Initially, his only aim was to rise from poverty and usurp the Joestar fortune from his adoptive brother Jonathan. However, his ambitions skyrocketed once he became a vampire using the Stone Mask. He survived being beheaded by grafting his head to Jonathan's body, gathered a widespread following of the strangest possible characters, and aspired to not only dominate the world with his great power but also to obtain heaven itself. Though his massive ego fueled everything he did, he was rarely, if ever, reckless. Dio is by far the most popular villain in JoJo for his unrepentant and wildly over-the-top performance of evil deeds.

8. Blackbeard(one piece)

Blackbeard also known as Marshall D Teach is one of the main villains in the One Piece anime, and there are several reasons that make him one of the best villains. Although I personally don't like him, he has the potential to surpass villains from other anime in the future. He is portrayed as greedy, scheming, murderous, conniving, cunning, cruel, and ruthless. In the beginning, I liked Blackbeard because he had a strong motivation related to his dream. I really appreciated his speech about it. His dream is to become the Pirate King, just like Monkey D. Luffy. Blackbeard played a crucial role in starting the Marineford arc, which ultimately led to Ace's death. He also betrayed and killed Whitebeard, the strongest pirate in One Piece, and stole Whitebeard's Devil Fruit. As a result, he has become one of the strongest pirates in the world and one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. He is one of the most hated characters in the series because without him, Portgas D. Ace would still be alive. One of the biggest mysteries surrounding Blackbeard is how he managed to obtain and use two Devil Fruit powers simultaneously. Normally, a person can only consume one Devil Fruit, and attempting to eat a second one results in death. Blackbeard's ability to use two Devil Fruits, the Dark-Dark Fruit and the Quake-Quake Fruit, is still unexplained in the series. I've heard some rumors from someone that suggest he might have three different personalities and possibly three heads inside his body. There are still many mysteries about Blackbeard that we may come to know in the future.

7. Black Goku(dragon ball super)

When I first saw Black Goku, I genuinely believed it was Goku who had turned evil in the future, and I got goosebumps from seeing him. I couldn't believe that the Goku we had known since our childhood had ended up becoming the most evil person in the entire universe. He showed no mercy to anyone and destroyed everything in the world, becoming an 'Evil God' in future. However, it was actually Zamasu who stole Goku's body by summoning the Dragon God because he had a strong motivation to become immortal and the strongest person in the universe. He was incredibly powerful, manipulative, and truly an evil character. He even defeated Goku and Vegeta, who had come from the past to defeat him, but they couldn't stop him until Zeno Sama, the No. 1 strongest God and the King of Everything, erased his existence with just a finger."

Zeno Sama:

6. Frieza( DBZ and DB super)

I believe Frieza is one of the better villains in anime because he has consistently proven himself as the most evil person in the universe. He has died many times but has never given up on his dream to become the strongest person in the universe, earning fear from everyone. He returned again in the Tournament of Power, Super's Broly movie, and the manga's Granolah arc. While he was used quite effectively in the Tournament of Power, the constant focus on Frieza has made him feel stale compared to other villains. Additionally, it doesn't help that Frieza's motivation is very straightforward each time."

How much stronger is black frieza?

Black Frieza has now emerged as the most significant threat to the entire universe in the Dragon Ball anime. He accomplished the remarkable feat of defeating both MUI Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta with just a single punch. Some even speculate that he might be stronger than Beerus, the God of Destruction. His transformation has also made him more evil than ever before.

He achieved this new form through intense training over ten years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber on another planet (whose time equivalence with the real world is unknown). He conquered this planet as he was determined not to keep losing to Goku and Vegeta. Several factors indicate that he is now even stronger than Granolah and Gas.

5. Donquixote Doflamingo(one piece)

Donquixote Doflamingo is one of the best 'One Piece' villains because he's a smart, manipulative, and cruel person. He also ruled a kingdom like a tyrant for more than a decade. Even after introduction of Katakuri and Kaido( one of emperor of sea), many fans considers doflamingo to be one piece's best villain.

4. Aizen Sosuke (Bleach)

With good reason, many people consider Sosuke Aizen to be one of the best antagonists in the Bleach series. With a genius-level intellect that seems unmatched and an IQ that could be compared to 999, he exudes coolness and charisma. Unquestionably, Aizen is the second-most potent adversary in Bleach after Yhwach. Aizen was strong from birth, but he had a burning desire to be matched in strength. Even though it was just a side project for Aizen, as Ichigo himself admits during their battle, this desire propelled him to assist Ichigo in fully developing his strength. Aizen, one of the extremely powerful Shinigami, uses the original Zanpakuto, Kyoka Suigetsu, which gives him the power to give his victims the most accurate hallucinations possible. Almost all Shinigami can be effectively controlled by him using this power, making them defenseless against him. The real power of Aizen comes from his superb long-term planning and manipulation. He skillfully manipulates people on both sides of the conflict to further his agenda. His crafty schemes nearly brought about the demise of Soul Society and the defeat of even powerful individuals like Yamamoto.

3. pain (Naruto shippuden)

Those eyes will bowl you over.

On a serious note, Pain is considered by many to be one of the best villains in Naruto because he's one of the most "balanced", for lack of a better term(4th Shinobi War the power scaling was whacked up). He had an incredible backstory, with tragedy and a desire to make the world better. But the disillusionment of war led him to use a more genocidal approach in order to literally "teach" the world what pain did.

In terms of abilities, there's a reason why Pain isn't in the databook; he'd probably score 5 on all of them if he was. The guy with his corpses was near unstoppable. You got the whole 6 paths that took out a whole village. If it wasn't for Naruto's TnJ Pain would've probably gone on to the whole world. And even without that corpse advantage, the guy has a freaking cannon attached to his arm. He was so difficult to take down.

It also brought enhancement to Naruto's character, as not only was he enlightened on the cycle of pain, but he set out to stop it from the moment he became Hokage. He was central to Naruto's development in the death of Jiraiya, as this enabled Naruto to learn senjutsu. He introduced the Rinnegan, the most powerful ocular dojutsu at the time, and this would set precedence for the So6p before once again, whacked power scaling. While I get that Naruto's TnJ was kinda BS on Pain's defeat, it would've been difficult to further enhance the plot without it.

Great backstory, great power balancing, impressive ideology, character development, know pain.

2. Madara uchiha (Naruto shippuden)

Madara Uchiha is a character who became a villain to bring peace. His goal was good but his methods were wrong, which made him a villain.

As Indra’s soul was reincarnated in Madara he was a very strong shinobi taking out a whole army of ninjas by himself. Being born in the time of war Madara was not much of a person to be irresponsible, so his dream to bring peace just like Hashirama Senju was indeed a good thing. But the death of his brother made him a man of rage.

Still, Hashirama made him walk the right path by his actions. They both found the Hidden Leaf and established peace between the two clans. But it was for a short time until Madara was hated and discriminated against by his own people. This was the reason for him to do wrong and become a villain.

He was the reason that Obito uchiha who was kind good hearted person and dreamt of becoming hokage like Naruto ended up becoming most wanted evil person in the world by manipulating him.

After many years later he came back to life and he was main reason for 4th great shinobi war . Akatsuki( the best group villain of all anime and pain was the leader of this group) were trying to capture all jinchuriki for many years in order to bring peace to world but they failed to do it while madara uchiha who just came back to life ,captured all tailed beast and jinchuriki in few seconds . He is most feared and God of shinobi(ninja) . He fought in solo with more than 5000 men in second including naruto , 5th kage ( top 5th strongest ninja in the world) and all of them failed to defeat madara uchiha. Afterward He became jinchuriki of ten tail and became even most powerful villain that no one had expected. He was Unstoppable even naruto and sasuke who got 6 path chakra and rinnegan was unable to defeat him . He was too powerful to be defeated but unfortunately he was betrayed by black zetsu . if it wasn't black zetsu he would have won easily and achieved his dream.

1. johan liebert(monster)

Johan Liebert is considered to be one of the best antagonists in all of anime. I recently completed Monster and though I liked the series because of him. He was the first villain to let us know that "We live in a society". I liked how he was constantly present in everything while he wasn't. You just didn't know and it had this eerie feeling throughout the series. Almost like a grim reaper whispering in the shadows killing and turning people against each other without leaving a trace apart from the character description or a Firstly, he wasn't any different from any human is. He doesn't have any super powers, no Super Saiyan, no Getsuga Tenshou, no Gear Fourth, no Sage mode. None of these. What he has is human abilities. And yet he is scary.

1. He MAKES people serial killers.
2. He makes said serial killers do his bidding.
3. Said serial killers are scared of just even hearing his name.
4. He talks people into suicide.
5. He's basically a phantom. People don't know he exists.
6. Everything he does (kills, burns place down, etc), he is unwavering on the decisions.
7. Best of all, after killing a person, he doesn't flinch the least bit. No reaction whatsoever. Just like killing a mosquito.

Everything he did seems realistic, what a human could do. And the fact that everything is realistic makes him THAT much more scarier. Would we be scared of an Aizen? Or a Frieza? No because we know for sure that even if they exist in some corner of the universe, we would have a 0% chance of meeting them. But someone like Johan Liebert possibly could exist among us, living as a normal likeable citizen. The realism is what makes him that good and that much scarier. name. The idea of Johan is probably why people like him so much rather than the character itself. The worst part is, even after he’s brought down for his crimes, he gets his wish. Some in the world idolize him for his actions, making him a person of worship long after his death.
